Overview

• You will pick one of the five special topics and write a longer summary of the topic, primarily using the listed readings.

• We will also have a discussion of these topics in the last class session

Details

• Write a 3 to 5 page “guide” or “introduction” to your chosen topic
• Use the listed readings as well as at least 3 more articles

Deadlines

• Sunday, June 2, 2024: Email me your choice of topic

• Thursday, August 15, 2024: Discussion in class

  • No slides or formal prep from you
  • Just be ready to discuss these topics in a practical, applied way (i.e., what about this topic is important to your science?)

• Sunday, August 18, 2024: Final paper due
